Business Situation:

The client is a medium investment management firm in Rochester, NY that specializes in guiding investors towards meeting their financial goals. The client’s tax function recently had experienced turnover in a Senior Staff position. They were in need of part-time assistance while they decided what the best long-term solution for the department would be.

ProNexus Solution:

ProNexus was engaged by the client to provide tax support services, assisting with quarterly and year-end income tax provisions, including reconciliations and supporting work papers. ProNexus assigned a consultant with industry experience to prepare C Corp Returns for Federal, State and combined while assisting with miscellaneous taxes such as gross receipt taxes and state notices. ProNexus also collaborated with another firm that prepared the partnership returns and was reviewed at the investment firm.
