Business Situation:
The client is a leading supplier in the automotive wholesale distribution industry, based out of Syracuse, NY. The Company supplies original equipment, aftermarket automotive parts, and accessories. Currently, the client employs 500 people, manages 30 locations, and operates 200 delivery vehicles serving over 10,000 customers daily. In addition, the client represents over 100 manufacturers’ product lines including industry-leading manufacturers such as ACDelco, Motorcraft, Raybestos, and Chevron among others.
The client went live with NetSuite on 1/1/22 and determined they would need additional support regarding NetSuite troubleshooting, which included work within both NetSuite’s reporting and operational functionality. In addition, the Company’s CFO resigned as of 2/11/22.
Given the circumstances described above, the client was seeking a partner to provide NetSuite support services in the following functional areas:
- Reporting & Dashboards
- General ERP system troubleshooting
- ERP system workflow optimization
The client also was looking to have access to advanced finance & accounting services, when needed.
ProNexus Solution:
ProNexus was engaged by the client to provide NetSuite Support Services. The NetSuite Support Services included testing, integration, technical consulting & development, optimization, current & future state reviews, and outlining strategies based on leading NetSuite practices for the client’s industry.
The client's requirements for the project included the following:
- Future bucket in AP aging based on the due date
- Reporting for payment selections
- Need bill internal ID to upload payment
- Need to see terms/payment discount on report
- Needs to only show open bills and unapplied credits
- GL reporting by location
- Other support services upon demand
Due to the success of this engagement, ProNexus has been asked to stay on to help the client migrate additional legal entities onto its NetSuite platform.
