Nonprofit Organization Replaces Key Accounting Role

Client: Large Nonprofit Health Facility
Requirement: Interim Management Services

Business Situation:

The client is a nonprofit agency that specializes in health and wellness for both men and women. This organization serves more than 20,000 clients each year, at 10 licensed health centers in the area. Recently, the organization has had a resignation within their Accounting Manager role. They are in need of Interim Management Services so they can maintain productivity to provide them with the time they need to hire the right replacement.

ProNexus Solution:

ProNexus was engaged by the client to help catch up with the backlog of Accounts Payable prior to the new Accounts Payable clerk’s first day of work. ProNexus assigned a consultant to document the current procedures and discussed the need to document and clearly communicate current policies and procedures with the organization’s Director of Finance. We assisted with entering new fixed assets to the depreciation module and updated the auditing schedules for accrued expenses and also began to update the schedule of prepaid expenses. After 4 weeks with ProNexus the client felt they were completely caught up and ready to bring in a replacement Account Manager.
