ProNexus Assists With A Physical Inventory On Short Notice

The client is a manufacturer of premium outdoor sporting goods. They are currently in the midst of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Due to system limitations, they do not have visibility to inventory valuations until the ERP system is fully implemented. They were in need of a physical inventory to be performed, as they did not know how much inventory they currently had. In addition, it was the company’s busy season for product sales, so they were concerned about lost revenue from down time when performing their physical inventory.
ProNexus was engaged by the client to provide Project & Program Management with their physical inventory in an efficient and accurate manner. ProNexus assigned a team of 10 to the project led by 2 senior Finance & Accounting Managers with extensive experience in both planning and executing physical inventories. ProNexus worked side by side with the client’s staff to ensure that the proper part numbers were accounted for. With the assistance of ProNexus, the majority of the physical inventory for floor items was counted and verified in one day, minimizing lost manufacturing time.
