Turnover Allows For A Fresh Look At The Finance & Accounting Function

Client: Medium Nonprofit Healthcare Facility

Business Situation

The client is a nonprofit organization seeking to improve the quality of life and promote independence and opportunity for Central New Yorkers by serving those who are disabled. The facility recently experienced turnover within their Finance & Accounting function which allowed the Board & Executive team to take a “fresh” look at issues within the aforementioned function.

ProNexus Solution

The client engaged ProNexus to provide Project Accounting and Finance support services to meet (4) key project requirements. ProNexus was able to support the facility with getting all YTD financial statements current and on track. ProNexus enhanced the utilization of Sage 300 ERP and reduced the use of Excel as a source of reconciliation. In addition, ProNexus trained the client’s staff with the preparation of Consolidated Fiscal Reporting (CFR), utilizing the built in Sage 300 ERP reporting features to enable the delivery of financials in a timely manner.

Lastly, ProNexus developed and wrote out the financial policies and procedures to reflect all of the changes made within the Finance & Accounting function utilizing Sage 300 ERP built in functionality.
